Camp TechWise Management
The management of Camp TechWise is comprised of several camp industry experts. Most work on a part-time or contract basis during the off-season to keep our over-head low (that’s how we give you great prices).
Our program and curriculum designers
Our Technology workshops are designed by amazingly seasoned technology professionals who have built cutting edge software applications and who work in collaboration with our program director making the courses engaging for youth. Then we mix in our talented young inspirational college-age instructors who are adept at stretching software's potentials and train them very carefully on how to mentor kids. All these innovative minded experts will help our young learners realize how limitless the technology horizon is today.
We also offer creative technology courses (video, digital photography, graphics), with a solid framework of hands-on projects, where we hire talented artists to work side by side with you child and inspire their own development of style and visual communication techniques. Our creative staff are adept at discovering what your child wants to say in their own art… and helps them develop the talents to do it.
Our science workshops are designed and organized by a team of science educators with decades of experience bringing science to life in the classroom. The staff facilitating the experiments in our workshops are skilled at allowing students to plan and problem solve the experiment, so the kids are not just shown a neat experiment… they become the scientists!
Our Engineering workshops are developed by designers who have worked for years with every robotic kit out there. Finally given the go ahead to think “out of the box” they have organized parts and challenges to engage children at all levels with fun hands-on construction projects that require some real engineering principles. These fun projects even get kids thinking about the word around them as they overcome the laws of physics to build crawling, flying, thinking machines.
